No other organisation has the same exacting criteria or focus on safety and quality..... The more people who register with the CNHC the more it will be recognised as the only organisation which provides the guarantees that members of the public are looking for." The Guild has been created by Angie Buxton-King and Graham King and is a Community Interest Company (CIC) that is asset linked into our registered charity no 1115614 'The Sam Buxton Sunflower Healing Trust' (SBSHT). The Guild has been created to provide Reiki ,Spiritual and Energy therapists with a recognised body whose standards support Voluntary Self Regulation (VSR) and who wish to work in a professional capacity. The Guild is working closely with the newly formed Complementary Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) and will continue to pursue VSR for its members. Our registered charity SBSHT http://www.cancertherapies.org.uk/ provides funds to NHS cancer centres and other cancer related areas to provide healers to work alongside allopathic medicine . The Guilds standards will seek to lay the foundation for healers in other areas of health care (in addition to cancer care) in both private and public sectors. Health providers and the general public will be able to call on the services of the Guild's registered membership, knowing that they meet the highest professional standards. Member of the Guild will have access to a number of benefits: One membership fee for Reiki ,Spiritual Healing or Energy Healing Members will be alerted to vacancies for healers within healthcare funded by our charity Membership fee includes the cost of the application fee to join the CNHC when the register opens to healers in 2010 Members have access to the Parliamentary Group for Integrated and Complementary Healthcare meetings that take place at Westminster throughout the year Access to a library of research articles relating to Healing Discounted rates on a developing programme of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) After interview , healers can be listed on our ‘Find a Healer' data base Have access to advice and supervision by healers who are leaders in the field of building bridges between complementary and conventional medicine Members can advertise their own workshops on the Guilds site
